I'm ready for break to come back again. It was an awful lot more fun than writing essays. At least we don't have a major test this year. Just finals. NEWTS will have to wait until next year to make me hate life.

I guess I'm going home for the break that's coming up. I don't see much point in staying here, and it's always more fun to watch Oliver burn cookies than to sit around making sure first years stay out of trouble.
Porter, you have to make sure I study a little, though, okay? If professors are giving out work, I need to get it done.

Why is it that professors seem to always assume that essays are the best way to learn in this school? I swear, almost every single one of my professors has assigned essays this week! If you're going to assign something so dreadful, you could at least check around and make sure you're not completely burying your students.
I think they're making up for the time they lost at the carnival. I knew there had to be a catch.

Well, this has been a fun week, hasn't it? Everyone looked so gorgeous at the ball. I think they should have more just to give us an excuse to dress up!

I'm shocked to say that prefect rounds have been quiet lately. I don't know if that means people have stopped breaking the rules or if they've just gotten a lot sneakier about it.
